Grade 1 - Peaceful Solutions
Grade 1 has finished their unit on creating peaceful solutions to problems that they encounter while at school.
Students worked in groups to put together a slide show of tableau stories to share their ideas with families and to support the KG students by providing examples of solutions. Students developed communication skills to create scenes in small groups and build captions to help explain the images, developed media skills by learning about the basics of capturing photos, and developed basic performance skills (facing the audience, use of space, body language).

We will continue to add to our solutions as the year goes on, and these slides will be used throughout the year at our peace table to help remind kids of positive choices.
