I am beginning a new music blog series here at TIS PYP Arts. I want to showcase songs from our community, in the languages represented by our community. The first song I'd like to highlight this week is sung by Mirei, 3C. She learned this song when she was small, and was taught by her sister. The song is in Japanese, with the second part on a neutral "la" syllable. In addition to the song, there is an accompanying hand clapping game. You can see Mirei and Alexandra (3C) do the hand clapping bit together. I wonder if you would like to try this song at home, after hearing Mirei sing it to us in the video?
