Second graders have started their new unit Exploring Design through Puppetry. Students will inquire into the materials used to make puppets, the different ways that our bodies can be used to make puppets move, and will explore different traditional puppets from all around the world.
Our first exploration was into how to create fast and fun hand puppets:
