Our fifth graders just completed their first stage of movie production: Storyboarding.

In groups they learned about differences in camera shots and camera angles and how to make informed creative choices about using cinematography to communicate effectively.

Through storyboarding, students planned a sequence of events, labeled their creative choices with the camera, described action and identified the location and roles for each scene.

Next week we move into exploring audio/video capturing devices and choices, and move into filming the following week: stay tuned and soon our young director's hard work will be available for you all to enjoy!
